Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the sheet is whiter and the reds are more vibrant in person and not as orange as in the catalogue illustration. The central blue area is also lighter than illustrated. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is affixed verso intermittently along the edges to the mout. The edges of the sheet are deckled. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist's working method. The upper left edge has slightly yellowed, possibly with age. Under close inspection, there is pinpoint evidence of foxing in the white area above centre and at the centre of the right edge.
