Catalogue Note

"When I begin to think about a chapter, it usually goes as follows: 1. Making one of the caption paintings, which is more of an unconscious conjuring without rules. 2. Starting to read about the architecture and history of the site where the chapter will be, and 3. Reading poetry, which helps me get at how to approach a particular chapter.”
