the panels in the manner of Jean-Baptiste Pillement, the central panel with the coat-of-arms of the Duc d'Orléans, the reverse panelled with floral brocade

Condition

A decorative piece in good restored condition. Minor chips, losses and restoration to the giltwood frame which has been re-gilt. Some pins/screw holes to the paneling on the back of the giltwood frame are visible. One hinge is loose. Silk backing would benefit from a gentle clean according to taste and silk braiding to reverse of one panel is hanging loose and will need re-fixing.
