8½-inch twelve-piece cartouche enamel dial, the three train movement with verge escapement, two outside count wheels for hours and quarters and now striking on two bells, signed on the backplate Gribelin A Paris, the waisted case with gilt urn surmount above foliate and gilt mounts and bun feet, the whole geometrically veneered

Condition

Dial has hairline cracks to the enamel numerals. Movement appears to be complete but is in need of a clean and fresh oil, quarter striking was originally on two small bells with hours on a larger bell but now converted to a single small bell and large bell plus hours on the large bell, bells replaced. Case has been re-polished and has some repairs to veneers, the mounts are rather rubbed. With pendulum, winder and case key.
