Condition

There is veining to the marble, consistent with the material, including some slightly open veins, which run horizontally through the man holding a book, diagonally through the woman's neck, and one vertically between these two figures. There is some filling to the vein at the man's book. There is weathering to the marble, including to the younger man's torso. The marble is slightly dry in areas. Otherwise the condition is stable.
