An Empire style mahogany settee early 20th century

of rich flamed mahogany veneers, with out-splayed arms, now upholstered in cream-coloured silk

The brass moulded edges to the top frieze are tarnished and lifting in areas. The upholstery has been heavily stained and damaged by water and would benefit from cleaning. the mahogany veneers along the base have been damaged at the edges and are lifting. Old marks and scratches through out consistent with age and use.
