Condition

A decorative piece in reasonable restored condition. Surface re-finished/lacquered and with typical craquelure, age cracks and minor losses. Cabinet doors slightly warped and are won't stay properly closed without being locked and the piece is lacking its keys. Gilt brass mounts are tarnished and would benefit from a clean according to taste and there are some pins missing notably from the lock plate. Drawer configuration possibly altered to incorporate a shelf. Underside with inventory label for Schloss Baden and the piece also retains Sotheby's 1995 lot tags. Patch repair to underside of rear left corner as viewed in catalogue image. Later stand in good condition. Generally with minor old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
