Condition

The board is flat, even and ensuring a stable support. There is one indent in the lower left quadrant of the composition and one in the upper right quadrant, both are visible to the naked eye. There is a pattern of hairline craquelure throughout. Ultra-violet light reveals intermittent strokes of retouching along the framing edges. Spots of restoration are also visible in the aforementioned indents and in the water in the lower left corner. The signature also appears to fluoresce. Overall, this work presents well. Presented in a dark wooden frame.
