with shaped back centred by a vase splat, the arms with shepherds crook supports, the drop in seat drop covered with needlework, on carved cabriole legs with shell carved knees

Condition
In overall reasonable restored condition. With evidence of a number of restored breaks notably to the arms and uprights of the back splat, filet repairs to the veneers around the seat rails and there are some small losses to the veneers. There is evidence of old worm which has been treated and has left discoloration to the seat rail frieze where the worm wholes have been filled. Consequently, the frieze apron has been altered and re-shaped. With old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Well proportioned and of an attractive shape.
