Description

  • 76cm. high, 148cm. wide, 81cm. deep; 2ft. 6in., 4ft. 10¼in., 2ft. 8in.
the folding central panel opening to reveal a writing tooled leather surface, the side hinged panels also opening to a fitted interior, on cabriole legs ending in cast sabots 

Condition

This rare bureau is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The gilt-bronze, tarnished, would benefit from a clean. Old shrinkage cracks to the inset marquetry panel, and minor losses to the veneer.
