Generally even 5mm pile, down to knotheads in area of main field in upper right quadrant, at the side, visible in the madder ground, and to the lower star gul in the left side of central red lozenge. Unusual pink abrash in areas. There is a patched reweave, within the central gull, too the top right edge between the two left hooks (approximately 10cm by 10cm), and some small scattered reweaves in areas. The outer guards at both ends are lacking, and are overlocked. Edges with original side cords. Slight bowing to lower end. It would benefit from a clean. Striking and evocative rug of its type.
