  • each approximately 85cm., 33 1/2 in. high
one painted with the Prince of Wales feathers, labelled 'Sodae. Tart.'; one with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society coat-of-arms, labelled 'Arrow Root', and another with a version of the Royal Arms of Scotland, labelled 'Acid:Tart', with gilt-domed covers,

Condition

The example labelled 'Acid: Tart', in the left of the illustration. The cover has at one point been partially fixed to the base which has now separated resulting in flaking to the gilding of the cover. The largest example, in the centre of the illustration. The base of the jar has two body cracks to he underside and edge of the foot. The example in the right of the illustration with the Prince of Wales feathers. The script label is quite worn.
