Condition
The canvas is lined, the and paint surface is stable and the varnish is slightly uneven. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a thick and milky varnish underneath which small areas of retouching are visible scattered in the background, as well as in the sitter's nose (which is visible to the naked eye). In overall fair condition.
