There is a minor loss to the tip of the knife's blade and the prongs of the fork are very slightly warped. There are a few small losses to the ivory, including to the head of the animal at the top of the knife, and the proper left ear of the top lion of the knife, and on the fork to the jaw and teeth of the lion on the proper left side. There is some stable splitting to the ivory, consistent with the material, in particular to the fork's lion on the proper right side and to the knife's hilt on one side, where there is some brown staining. There is some yellowing to the ivory, consistent with the material.
