the deep flaring sides rising from a short straight foot, painted around the exterior with three Buddhist lions divided by floral sprays, the interior with a floral medallion encircled by a foliate chevron band at the rim, the base with an apocryphal six-character Jiajing mark,

Condition

The bowl is in good condition with the exception of a short firing crack to the base.
