the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a sharply everted rim, painted around the exterior with scholars engaged in leisurely pursuits, the interior with a medallion enclosing a plant in a jardinière reserved on a diaper ground,

Condition

The bowl has a 6cm., hairline rim crack and a slight depression to approximately 2cm., of the rim probably original to firing.
