9-inch painted arched dial the signature Gibson, Royal Exchange and painted gilt foliate scrolls concealed by the front door, the Swiss two train spring barrel movement with verge escapement and silk suspension, quarter striking on two bells, the cadrature mounted on the backplate, numbered along the lower edge 4805, the musical movement mounted below and triggered by the clock movement at the hour, with massive chain fusee drive to the 15.5cm. pinned barrel playing eight airs on a carillon of twelve bells with nineteen hammers, the well-figured case with shallow arch top, moulded base and brass feet

Condition

Painted dial in very good condition, good steel hands. Movements appear complete but would benefit from service, overhaul and adjustment. Case in generally god condition, silk to sides distressed, old scuffs and marks throughout. With pendulum winder and case key.
