Description

  • Porcupine quill, ivory, ebony
  • the ebony bookstands 16cm. high, 40cm. wide, 18cm. deep; 6½in., 1ft. 4in., 7¼in. the rosewood bookstand 18cm. high, 54cm. wide, 23cm. deep; 7¼in., 1ft. 9¼in., 9in.
together with a Victorian rosewood example, first quarter 19th century (3)

Condition

Overall in good restored condition and ready to place. The Porcupine examples with some minor wooden replacements to the quill stands which have been decorated accordingly. The rosewood example with very minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use. All three with some minor wear from age and use.
