Description

  • pottery
each baluster body moulded in high relief with dragons and set at the shoulder with lug handles, two covered overall in a light brown glaze, the other in a dark blue

Condition

The jars are in good overall condition with the exception of some minor glaze firing imperfections, the blue jar has two 2x1cm., glaze chips, one of the brown-glazed jars has a 6x2.5cm., area of glaze loss to the shoulder, and the other brown jar has two 1cm., diam flakes to the lower body and loss to approximately half of one lug handle at the shoulder.
