Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with dirt to the surface throughout and minor wear consistent with age. The terracotta appears to have been placed outside, causing a layer of encrusted dirt to much of the surface. There are a few minor stable firing fissures, notably at the proper right shoulder. There are a few minor chips at the high points. There is a slip to the surface which may conceal further condition points. The terracotta is placed on a modern painted wood base which is in very good condition.
