- 156cm., 61 1/2 in. high
the ovoid body applied with garlands of fruiting vine, beneath a gadrooned moulded border, the waisted neck applied with anthemion and further fruiting vine, and set with acanthus bifurcated handles, raised on a gadrooned and stiff leaf moulded foot on integral square stand, the cover with similar moulding and surmounted with a pinecone finial, picked out in gilding,
Condition
The finial of the cover loose and separate with old repair and screw fitting. The cover secured in place to vase, with a rim chip. The rim of the vase with two chips. The surface has been re-painted and would benefit from being cleaned.
To the foot there is a crack that continues horizontally around the whole circumference.
