Condition

The canvas is lined and has a plastic protective board on the reverse. There is some surface dirt but otherwise the varnish is clear and even. The is no major damage visible. Inspection under UV light reveals small sensitive scattered retouchings throughout - the main concentration of which is in the pale fabric above and below the watch, and in the shadows of the golden urn. Offered in a painted and ripple moulded Dutch style frame in good condition.
