Condition

In good original condition, with overall marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The parquetry top displaying some scarcely noticeable warping, the original fitted interior with coloured silk lining and an original tooled leather writing flap with wear that is consistent with age. Some minor losses to the veneer on the lower part of legs. Light tarnishing to the gilt-bronzes.
