Overall in reasonable restored condition. Typical lifting, movement and shrinkage to the inlaid veneers and some losses and areas of restoration to the marquetry consistent with age and use. Consequently there are signs of restoration to the top and sides of each carcass as a result of securing the exterior panels. Some areas of the tulipwood and amaranth banding have restorations and replacements. The right return of one commode noticeably faded. The drawer linings have patches and areas of restoration where they have been also been secured. The lower drawer of one commode lacking escutcheon. The surface has been repolished and generally has minor old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. A decorative pair of commodes, ready for use. Please note that one commode has an area of damage with movement on the front-right corner of the top with some losses to the inlaid border which will require professional attention and consolidation.
