each carved with rocaille and foliage, with pierced cresting and conforming apron

Condition

Overall marks and scratches consistent with age, the mirror plates displaying pitting and some losses. One mirror with a loss to the upper-left side of the frame and two more repairs on the left-hand side. There is a repair on the upper-right side of the inner moulding visible from the catalogue photograph. This moulding also shows three areas of gilt surface losses. The gilding of both has been refreshed, although there remains superficial wear consistent with age.
