the cresting carved with a scrolled boss flanked by fruit-filled stylised cornucopiae above an arcaded headboard, the uprights surmounted by pinecone finials, on gadrooned bulbous feet, marked R.B., incorporating some 17th century elements

Condition

This very decorative bed is in good condition, displaying a good overall wear. There are marks and scratches overall, and some flaking to the painted decoration. The crest with old repair patches. The columns are in need of some professional attention.
