Condition

Overall dimensions: 462cm across the top, 460cm across the bottom, 474cm the left hand side, 478cm across the right hand side. Overall observations: Overall good condition, with good, summer colours. Some very minor areas of colour run which are barely noticeable. Some dark surface marks, for example two to the herringbone tape protecting the upper border, slightly extending into the upper border annd one further in the lower inner ivory and floral border (approx. 10 by 7cm.). Some variation in colour to the green border. Evidence of old water damage to borders, with edges visible, which has been treated, see for example an area in the upper green border extending into the purple inner border. All sides later lined with protective herringbone tape, as visible from the photograph. Later backed with thick modern cotton to the underside. A very pretty and cheerful carpet which is ready to place.
