Description

  • Gilt-bronze, porcelain, tortoiseshell
  • 58cm. high; 1ft. 11in.
with porcelain figurine of an actor, the framed tortoiseshell screen and arms applied with soft-paste flowers and foliage, on a rocaille base 

Condition

This very attractive piece is in good condition, and was formerly fitted for electricity. The bronzes with light tarnishing consistent with age. There is a small crack to the tortoiseshell screen. The figurine with very minor chips, most notably to the right hand, retains a vivid colour.
