Description

Condition

A fine and decorative column. There are a number of small chips and losses to the marble notably to the column and plinth base. The figure and capital are detachable and the column also detaches form the stepped base. There is a repaired break to the corner of the moulded plinth base. The marble veneers to that section have apparently been re-glued. With signs of filler used notably to the base of the column.
