comprising two giltwood chairs with a matching settee, a Mecca gilt armchair, and a silvered stool.

Condition

Gilding with wear and rubbing throughout; some inpaint to areas of previous loss. Age cracks; scattered small chips especially to feet consistent with use and age. Pair of armchairs: One with a restoration to the bottom of the backrest. A restoration to the right side of one seat and with an additional block to underside for stability. Stool: The back of the shell functioning as the seat with restored breaks. Single armchair: Restored break to one arm; stable. Settee: Some horizontally running age cracks to back along construction joins. The seat with a restored age crack to left side now with an additional support to underside.
