A pair of Wedgwood blue jasper vases and covers late 18th / early 19th century

designed by Sir Joshua Reynolds, decorated in white relief with 'The Infant Academy', impressed WEDGWOOD. 

One vase has one handle broken off in two places and restored back; the other handle has also been broken off from the upper section and restored back with additional restoration to a haircrack running around the lower part of the handle. The same vase has a small chip to the edge of corner on the base. The other vase has restoration to a small area, where the stem of the vase meets the base. The foot of the vase on the square base has an approximate 2 by 1 inch restored chip and seven very small chips to the edge some of which have been touched up. There is an approximate 1/4 inch chip to the lower edge of one corner of the base.
