Description

  • marked on base, cover, finial, and bolt, the base also stamped Storr & Mortimer / 259

  • length over handles 14 3/4 in.
  • 37.5 cm
on scroll and shell feet, applied on each side with arms and motto, the handles formed as ruffled shells flanked by seaweed, the cover applied with crests and with foliated branch finial

Condition

marks on base of tureen rubbed, there is an old repair to base (possibly even done at time of construction) noticeable only by some slight discoloration to the surface, minor dings to interior and cover, applied crests on cover softened, overall good condition
