each reserved with a figural panel, painted by L. A. Maitre, signed, depicting an amorous couple in a landscape or an interior within the gilt borders tooled with a foliate design, affixed with elaborate scroll handles. 

Condition

Each vase with some minor and occasional wear to the gilding in places and areas of touch ups to the gilding along the rim edges, base, stem and the area where the vase is connected to the base, all possibly covering rubbing to the gilding. The touch-ups are very well done. The vase on the left in the catalogue illustration has the front side of the right handle touched up with gilding. The other vase has touch ups to the upper section of the handles.
