Condition

The ceramic is sound. Examination under UV light reveals a spot of retouching (approx. 1 cm long) in the blue pigment to the upper part of the vase and another spot of retouching (approx. 1,5 cm long) along the lower edge. There are a few air bubbles and slight scuffs to the glaze in places, inherent to the firing process. There are some minor small surface scratches, a few flecks of paint loss and some clay accretions, notably towards the centre of the vase, as well as a few tiny chips along the lower edge. There are handling marks in places and some glue remnants on the underside. This work is in overall good condition.
