Condition

The ceramic is sound. There is a small chip along the edge (approx. 0.4 cm long). There are a few small air bubbles and some fine lines of craquelure throughout the composition, inherent to the firing process. There are two original handling holes with associated minor scuffs to the glaze on the underside and some glue remnants from former labels. There are some small lines of losses to the glaze on the underside, probably relating to the removal of kiln stilts. There is some light surface dust. This work is in good condition.
