Condition

The ceramic is sound. There are some minor original losses to the glaze predominately away from the centre of the composition. There are a few scattered air bubbles and a few hairline lines of craquelure, all inherent to the firing process. There is some light rubbing in two places along the edges. There are two original handling holes and some glue remnants on the underside with some fine lines of stable craquelures and a small dot of surface abrasion to the glaze on the right part of the signature (approx. 0.8 cm long). This work is in overall good condition.
