EN : Good overall condition. The metal presents with scratches of use throughout the surface and a few small dents more or less minor, especially along the edges of the top. Very light oxidation throughout with some more significant traces of oxidation (especially on the feet of the ostriches and in the recessed areas). The biscuit has been gently cleaned under the supervision of Sotheby's. It stills presents with very minor soiling. Half of the proper right wing of the proper left ostrich presents with a light shade, most likely resulting from the handling. Very minute flaws in the biscuit, inherent to the manufacturing process (very minute cracks, very minute black dots). On the inside of the proper left ostrich wings, two surface firing cracks, resulting from the manufacturing process, that have been stabilized since the beginning with small rectangular metal pieces (1 on the proper left wing, 3 on the proper right wing). On the proper left ostrich, right under the metal collar, a flaw in the biscuit that has been originally repaired. The wings of each ostrich close in a slightly different way : There is a small height difference between the wings of the proper left ostrich and a small gap between the wings of the proper right ostrich. //// FR : Bon état général. Le métal présente des rayures d'usage sur l'ensemble de la surface et quelques petits enfoncements plus ou moins mineurs, plus particulièrement sur les arêtes du plateau. Très légère oxydation sur l'ensemble avec quelques traces d'oxydation plus marquées (notamment sur les pieds des autruches et dans les recoins). Le biscuit a été délicatement nettoyé sous la supervision de Sotheby's. Il présente encore de très légère traces de salissure. La moitié de l'aile droite de l'autruche de gauche présente une légère nuance de couleur, probablement liée à la manipulation de la pièce. Le biscuit présente d'infimes défauts résultant du processus de création (infimes craquelures, infimes petits points noirs). A l'intérieur des ailes de l'autruche de gauche, deux fêlures de cuisson en surface qui ont été stabilisées dès l'origine par de petits renforts métalliques rectangulaires (1 renfort métallique sur l'aile de gauche et 4 sur l'aile gauche). Sur l'autruche de gauche, au niveau du col métallique, un défaut dans le biscuit qui a été réparé dès l'origine. Les ailes de chacune des autruches se referment de manière légèrement différente. Il y a un léger décalage en hauteur entre les ailes sur l'autruche de gauche et un léger jour entre les ailes de l' autruche de droite.
