Description

  • Wood, lacquer, mother-of-pearl
of rectangular form, inlaid in mother-of-pearl, depicting landscapes animated with figures and houses on water, the reverse inlaid with flowering branches, all supported on wood stands

Condition

The screen visible on the left in the catalogue illustration The stand is in good condition. The side visible in the catalogue illustration - There are losses of mother of pearl. - The wooden frame has losses lower right. The side not illustrated in the catalogue - There are losses of mother of pearl and on the lacquer. The screen visible on the right in the catalogue illustration The stand has accidents, losses and loosy parts. The side visible in the catalogue illustration - There are losses to the mother of pearl and to the lacquer. - There are old restoration especially a ca. 2,5 x 1,5 cm in the lower centre part and another one in the pagoda. - The wooden frame is loose with associated losses. - There are hairlines in the lacquer, especially in the lower part. The side not illustrated in the catalogue - There are losses of lacquer on the edges overall. - There are hairlines cracks extending from the lower part to the centre. - There are old restorations on the upper part on the top. The stand has accidents and losses, with loosy parts.
