Condition

A l’œil nu : Les tableaux se présentent dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Ils sont peints sur un panneau de chêne constitué pour chacun d’une planche non parquetée. La matière est parfaitement stable. On ne remarque pas de manque. A la lampe UV : Sur le portrait représentant Henri II, on remarque quelques restaurations dans le visage. To the naked eye : The paintings are in satisfactory condition. Both are painted on an oak panel made of one non-cradled plank. The pictorial matter is perfectly stable. We cannot notice any loss. Under UV light : On Henri II’s portrait, we can notice some restorations on the face.
