The gilding is rubbed and tarnished.
There are some chips and minor losses to the gilding revealing the white gesso and the red bowl underneath.
The mirror was probably previously a frame for a painting. The mirror panel is associated and later. There are some rubbed areas and surface scratches to the glass panel.
The back of the mirror has been changed and replaced by a cardboard.
