Catalogue Note

Lucy was probably the daughter of John and Rebekah Cottle, who were married in 1823 and lived in Lebanon, Maine.

Mounted in the frame are several sentimental poems clipped from newspapers, a handwritten receipt inscribed Lebanon and a circa 1870 cart de visite photograph of a middle-aged woman, presumably Lucy Cottle.
