Description

each piece painted in famille-rose enamels with Chinese figures in landscape within underglaze-blue borders, comprising: five graduated rectangular small platters, eleven plates and fifteen soup plates. Together with a pair of Chinese Export 'Imari' small platters and a Chinese Export 'Pseudo-Tobacco Leaf' small patter. 34 pieces.
Condition
Five graduated platters - three of smaller size - one has a 1/2 inch rim chip issuing at 1 1/2 inch haircrack; one has a shallow 1/4 inch chip under the rim; one has an 1/8 inch chip to the rim edge. Two of larger size - one has two rim chips; the other is in good condition.
Eleven plates -
one has a 1 1/2 inch hair crack to the rim which angels to run 1 inch along the cavetto; 3 are in good condition; two each have a long star crack to the center; one has two shallow chips to the rim edge; two have been cracked in half and glued together and have small rim chips; one has been broken in three pieces and glued together; one has three small rim chips
Fifteen soup plates -
two each have a long crack and rim chips; three have two cracks and several rim chips; two have several rim chips; two have tiny rim chips and a foot rim chip; one has two footrim chips; one has two chips and a piece of the rim restuck; one has a footrim chip; one has a haircrack to the rim, small rim chip and a footrim chip; one has a minor haircrack and a minor chip; one has a tiny rim chip.
Pseudo tobacco platter - good condition
Imari platters - one has an 1/8 inch rim chip, the other is in good condition
