comprising: a blue and white plate; a blue and white pudding bowl; a blue and white cafe-au-lait-backed saucer and a conical beaker, both later-decorated in Europe; a white-glazed peony-molded box and cover and a 'Judgement of Paris' soup plate. 7 pieces.
Provenance
plate: The Nanking Cargo, Christie's, Amsterdam, April 28 - May 2, 1985, lot 3659 (part).
pudding bowl: Recovered from the wreck of the ship 'Goteborg', sunk in 1745, recovered in 1876 (by repute according to paper label on reverse).
circular box: The Vung Tao Cargo, Christie's, Amsterdam, April 7 - 8, 1992, lot 438 (part).
soup plate: Collection of A. J. B. 'Jim' Kiddell (1894-1980), thence by descent.
pudding bowl: Recovered from the wreck of the ship 'Goteborg', sunk in 1745, recovered in 1876 (by repute according to paper label on reverse).

Condition
Blue and white plate - good condition; Pudding bowl - tiny chip to underside of rim; Saucer - half inch chip to underside of rim, small ground chip to rim; Beaker - three very small rim chips; Box and cover - slightly stained, otherwise in good condition; Soup plate - good condition.
