each piece painted with the arms of Canning within a blue 'Fitzhugh'-type border, comprising: a soup tureen and cover, two oval platters, a pair of replacement English pottery vegetable dishes and covers, eighteen dinner plates and ten soup plates. 36 pieces.

Condition

Soup tureen cover - the upper part of the knop has been detached and is now pinned back on with a metal pin. Minor rim frits. Tureen - heavily crazed overall, one handle has been reaffixed with a metal pin. Two rim chips and a short crack running from the metal pin to the rim Platters - One has been broken in two pieces and is riveted back together; the other has some wear to the glaze and enamels on the cavetto, but is otherwise in good condition Vegetable dish covers - good condition Vegetable dishes - one has a 3 inch crack to one corner; the other has a long star crack to one side of the base Ten soup plates - two each have a few tiny rim chips; two each have a rim chip issuing a 2 inch hair crack and several minor rim chips; one has two short haircracks to the rim and several small rim chips; three are cracked almost in half; two each have a four inch crack to the base above the arms and a few small rim chips; Eighteen plates - all have some stacking wear to the cavetto and slight wear to the enamel of the arms. eight each have several small minor rim chips; three each have two larger rim chips and several tiny ones; two each have a four inch crack to the center to one side of the arms; three each have a long star crack to the center; two have a long crack across the center;
