Condition

Pile ranges from near original 1/8" with areas of oxidation and foldwear, low to knotheads and foundation. Much of oxidized buff field now repiled. A large approximately 15" reweave upper end and a 4 to 2" horizontal reweave across the center of the rug. Smaller scattered reweaves. Original selvages intact with remnants of cloth binding. Some fraying in areas not extensive. Lower end also with remnants of cloth binding and original flatwoven ends and fringes. Scattered spot stains, should enhance with cleaning. Very flexible handle, lustrous wool, sound fabric and condition.
