Condition

Pile ranges from 1/8th of an in. to low to knot heads in minor scattered foldwear and oxidized dark browns. Scattered repiling to dark browns throughout some further scattered repiling to other colours, not extensive. Lower end with some scattered reweaves including a 1 in. x 7 in. reweave, a 2 in. x 3 in. reweave, a 2 in. x 2 in. reweave, a 5 in. by 2 in. reweave in outer guard border and guard stripes, and an irregularly shaped reweave which at its longest is approx. 5 in. Upper 4/5th of the carpet with some minor smaller reweaves which are not extensive. Sides later overcast. Ends with minor partial outer guard borders, now secured with a chain stitch. Upper end with Velcro strips sewn on reverse for hanging. Fine weave, very supple handle, fully restored and ready for use.
