Catalogue Note

According to the Gorham records, this piece is described as a fruit dish and was made by Harold Edward Nock for 50 hours, then chased by Otto Colmetz for 58 hours. It was finished on October 24, 1904, and had a net factory price of $168 (Larry Pristo, Martelé: Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p. 314).
