large patch repair to right of handle terminal with repairs also to the terminal, finial pushed down and with splitting through cover, dents to base rim and handle, some minor creases and dings throughout

In his 1971 thesis, Dean Failey notes numerous tankards found in Pelletreau's surviving (incomplete) account books, but only four have domed covers.
