Provenance
Ancienne collection Bruni Tedeschi, vente Sotheby's Londres, le 21 mars 2007, lot 139
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate despite being slightly too orange.
The gilding is very slightly rubbed and tarnished. The branch is loose and needs to be stabilised.
Please note that the figures are not in "porcelaine tendre" but in "porcelaine dure" (hard paste porcelain and not soft paste porcelain). One porcelain flower needs to be refixed and there are some chips to the flowers. The left hand of the tower is broken and missing. The two elements held by the king are partly broken and missing, and its base has been restored.
Very decorative candelabra.
