Condition

Overall the condition of this bronze is good with minor wear to the patina and minor surface dirt in the crevices consistent with age and handling. There is some oxidation a minor greening at several places, in particular to the back of her proper right shoulder. The index of her proper right hand is partly missing. A few old fillings and dents are visible to the back and to the drapery. The circular marble base with some minor chips along the edges, slightly wobbly on an even surface, with an old label numbered 29. Very good and heavy cast, precise in all details.

Catalogue Note
